Update Built-In Webcam
Open your web browser and navigate to your computer manufacturer's website.
Type your computer's model into the "Search" box for the manufacturer's website main page and press Enter to find your model.
Click the google listing that corresponds in your style of computer.
Go here on the computer's main page for drivers or downloads. If you can't find the link on the computer's main page, you might need to simply click a hyperlink for "Support" first.
Locate the modern driver update on your computer's webcam and save the installation file for a hard disk drive; generally, this can be an EXE file. Run the downloaded file to run updated webcam drivers in your computer.
Update External Webcam
Open your webcam and navigate to the webcam manufacturer's website.
Type the model number for your webcam to the "Search" box for the manufacturer's main page.
Click on the search result that corresponds in your external webcam.
Check the page for drivers or downloads. If you fail to chose the link for the webcam manufacturer's main page, you may want to visit a hyperlink for "Support" first.
Locate the latest driver for the webcam and save the installation file to your disk drive. Run the downloaded installation file to update your webcam's drivers for the newest version.
