How to Install Drivers in Windows 8

This article is talk about how to install drivers in windows 8. If Windows 8 doesn’t automatically recognize and install your newly attached piece of hardware — even though you restart your personal computer — adopt these measures to
uncover and put in a new driver:

1 Download the latest Windows 8 driver first.

Click to see Where to download Drivers? or we suggest you download drivers from Drivers Download Sites.

2 Run the driver’s installation program.

Sometimes clicking your downloaded file makes its installation program jump into action, installing the driver to suit your needs. If that's the case, you’re through. Or else, check out Step 3.

When the downloaded file includes a little zipper about the icon, right-click it and choose Extract All to unzip its contents in to a new folder containing the files. (Windows 8 names that new folder following your file you’ve unzipped, making it all to easy to relocate.)

3 Right-click in the screen’s bottom-left corner and choose Device Manager from the pop-up menu.

The device Manager appears, listing an inventory of the part inside or attached with your laptop. The problematic you will use a yellow exclamation point icon close to it.

4 Click your problematic device listed in the Device Manager window. Then click Action from the Device Manager’s menu bar and choose Add Legacy Hardware from the drop-down menu.

The Add Hardware Wizard guides you from the steps of putting in your brand-new hardware and, if necessary, installing a new driver. Beware, though: This last-ditch method of reviving problematic parts can frustrate even experienced techies.

Avoid problems by keeping your drivers up-to-date. Including the ones packaged with newly bought parts are generally old. Go to Drivers Download ’s website, download, and install the most up-to-date driver. Itrrrs likely good it fixes problems earlier users had while using first list of drivers.

If you has Problems with a newly installed driver? Then head back to Device Manager, double-click the troublesome part’s name, and click the Driver tab on the Properties box. Keep your breathing steady. Then click the Roll Back Driver button. Windows 8 ditches the newly installed driver and returns to the previous driver.
